1/24 Jaguar Grp. C car. Hasegawa plastic kit mounted on Plafit SLP2
chassis. Car built for 4-hours race.
July 2009 - i am using this car for our clubs LeMans Summer series and
have won two out of three legs. We have just added spray glue to our
track and the grip is very good, which seems to fit this chassis well.
It has broken all track records on our club track and is current 2-3
tenths faster than most other cars. The closest so far is my Porsche 936
which also is running sub-7 second times.

1/24 Toyota Grp.C car. Tamiya plastic kit body mounted on Plafit SLP
chassis. Car built for 6-hours race. I am changing all my Plafit chassis
to Schöler chassis, so my SLP2 chassis is the last survivor.

I needed a car for the Danish GT championships, so my trusty P917
chassis has to move over to another body, The Revell Porsche 911 GT1. I
painted it in the same colour sceme as the 917 was racing in South
Africa with Davis Piper Racing and it actually looked quite good. I had
a similar chassis for the Ferrari 575 seen below and the chassis won the
4th leg of the HMRC LeMans club championship with the Porsche 911 body.
With the 917 chassis and the 911 body I won the first leg of the Danish
Championship with 4-5 rounds more than the nearest competitor. The
revell kit is a bit shuddy, but it looks more than a racecar than the
current Japanese taxies and riceboilers that are being used. The car
came 4th in the second leg of the Danish Champs and are now taken aparts
as the chassis is being used for other projects.

1/24 Ferrari 575 Carrera slot car body mounted on Schöler 5513 chassis for
GT-Hardbody scaleracing. The chassis ran with a Porsche 911 body at the
club championships and won the 4th leg. The body is custom painted in
white and metallic orange. Decals are homemade. The car is sold.

This is a glasfiber body on a Plfit chassis. There is alot of work
involved in turning this into a drivable model. The aim was not to make
20 point German Concours winner, but tha car should be a nice
representation of the Ferrari 512S and at the same time a nice driver. I
think this worked out. The car is built for and old friend from my
childhood in Ikast.
|
This beautiful car is a Fujimi plastic kit with homemade decals and
paint mixed from dark green and aluminium paints to depict a 1966 Alan
Mann GT40 driven by Sir John Whitmore. The chassis is a Schöler 5513D
with Fox 10 motor, Wiesel rear tires and treated hard foam rubber front
tyres.
The complete car is sold to a friend. A
beautiful car that drives very well, but it had to go to make room for
new projects. I had actually rebuilt it before sales with special parts
to lower the weight to the 170g which is maximum for the narrow cars in
our classic summer series.

1/24 McLaren M6A. Clear plastic body with homemade decals on White Point

participated in 3 Danish Championships und currently leeds the champs,
Two week ago it won a 10 hours race.

1/24 Ford Escort. Clear plastic body on White Point chassis. Original
was raced by Flemming "Maleren" Rasmussen on the Danish tracks in 1969.
Decals homemade. (car sold dec.08)

1/24 Ferrari 312P Spyder - German handmade Fibre Glass body on
early Schöler Panter (?) chassis with Fox motor and foam tires.
Decals homemade. The stripes and Kiwi figure on the helmet is also
decals.
I think the 1969 Ferrari 312P was one of the most beautiful racecars
ever built. I am also crazy about the LeMans Coupe version.
The 1/32 model is a resin body on a homemade resin chassis. The finish
is unfortunately a bit spoiled as the laquer is cracking maybe due to
some problems with the primer. Decals are homemade.
July 09 - The 312P is now having its second youth in our clubs Summer
Classic series with a new up-to-date Schöler 5513 chassis, PU-tyres and
all the works. The car has had a few crashes but survives beautifully
untill now.

1/24 McLaren M6 - Clear PETG plastic body for Danish White Point
CanAm class. This body is sold to my friend Stephen from our local
Slot Car Club.

July 2009 - This was my bid for our clubs revised LeMans Summer series
with bodies from 1975 till today. Its no secret that I am fond of older
racecars, so this was one of the oldest candidates i could find. The
Tamiya kit body has a Schöler 5513 chassis, Fox II motor and foam tyres
and after some fine tuning the cars runs very fast and pretty stable.
Times are now under 7 seconds which is impressive on our track.
|
July 2009 - This Fujimi based car is one fast thing!! - the chassis is a
Schöler 5513 and fitted with a Fox II motor and foam tyres this car was
unbeatable in our spring club series. Decals are homemade using Corel
Draw and a Canon InkJet printer.
The class is now split in a classic series with Fox 10 motor, PU-tyres
and bodies up to 1974 and a Lemans series with Fox II motor, foam tires
and bodies from 1975 and onwards. The 917 was rebuilt to the Classic
seireis specifications and was sold to make room for other projects.
